Every Entrepreneurial Enterprise needs to have a Board (or maybe know as the Executive), unless the Enterprise is a Proprietorship.

The Board is elected to Office by the Shareholders or Partners at a General Meeting of the Enterprise.

The Board will normal elect their Chairman (often the President is the Chairman) and other Positions on the Board, at their first meeting when the new Board takes Office.

The Board will appoint the person to be the Chief Executive Officer [CEO]. Sometimes it is one of their own members.

The Board Reports to the Shareholders (or Partners) at the next General Meeting, this is usually on an annual basis. Sometimes Special or Extraordinary Meetings are held at the discretion of the Board, or when a decision must be made by the Shareholders (or Partners) according to the Enterprises Constitution, Rules and Regulation, or Law of the Jurisdiction that granted their existence.

This Wiki is for the Entrepreneurs of the world. The purpose is to provide a 'Wikipedia' like resource for corporations or business enterprises to find everything from Planning, Management Tools, Marketing Tools, Production Resources, People Resources, and other Online Tools in Education, Software, Hardware, Accounting, Financing, and Governance.

If you want to get involved in the project, visit the Wiki Work pages were you can add projects to our To-Do list. The Wiki Work is a central point to keep track of our goals, the project schedule, and our work in progress. Add pages as necessary, brainstorm on the wiki "whiteboard" page, and use the person-to-person messaging feature to keep in touch with team members.

The bottom line of any Entrepreneurial Enterprise is to make a Profit, and to Distribute the Profit to the Shareholders after gifts to charitable causes and the governments share of the profits. An Enterprise should save 10% of the Profit for the future.
